Looks like they will be #1 in D2OL by tomorrow at the latest.

They did it today.

Congrats to all the members of the DPC for a great job of crunching.

Don't forget seti1 is ending soon .

Congratulations to DPC for taking the number one spot - let's make sure they don't stay there for too long😀

I think it is time for a front page article asking for help for our D2OL TeAm.

Message on the way. 😉

Just another one of those days.... my main PC at home looks like the mobo blew on it... looks like a few bulging caps... fortunately, I have another of the same mobo at work, but still... what a pain in the ass... :|

I'm interested in joining D2OL, as SETI is ending and DPAD is going very strong, that and it actually seems like D2OL is striving for something that could be immediately useful to humankind.

Any install guides out there or just download the client with java VM (or without?) and run it. I would also assume, as with most dist. projects, that the screensaver is way slower than the regular client?

I probably won't make the transition for a little while; probably just one machine to get it figured out.

TIA

D2OL is pretty easy to install. The only thing was registering a node - I had to figure that one out for myself - but overall - I'm pleased with the project so far. Lots of nice bells and whistles - good stats, stable client.

Two thumbs up. - and two machines on. 😉

The nice thing about D2OL - is being able to monitor your remote nodes. Very nicely done.

I downloaded the one with java VM, installed it, and it seems like its running fine. How do I make sure my stats go to the TeAm? All it seemed to ask was my email.

Thanks! Registered. 🙂

edit: so my other computers I just add the node number and they will be associated with my account, and upload for TA? ok, sounds like I can figure this out. Thanks Freewolf.

I was VERY impressed with the node registration. That was a nice touch.

Actually... they've done about the best job with a DC project I've seen yet. Very professional GUI, and nice graphics.

I'll be adding 7 more machines shortly. 🙂
