My PS2 died this morning at 12:11am. It had a good life, had it since the day it was released (4 years?). It just had to fail right when I buy a new (used) game, and right before Christmas. Great, now my parents have another excuse to not buy me a 360, now they can get me a PS2... damnit. Not like I was going to get a 360 anyways, but now theres another excuse.
A few things are wrong with it, not just one thing: like the reset/eject buttons do not work anymore, it doesnt read disks of any kind (I thought about the class action law suite thing but thats over with if Im correct). It also started to smell after 4 minute of playing last night so I turned it off, took it apart, look at it, saw nothing wrong, turned it back on (case open) and pressed the reset button. The thing started to smell almost instantly and wouldnt show anything on screen.
Reason of death unkown, but might have been from dust, might have been from overuse, I left it on for ~1 month.

RIP PS2
