I'm not saying that if this would have happened and Gore was president that Gore would have screwed up, but I for one am glad that Bush is the one in charge. You can have a leftist liberal government in times of peace and prosperity and the country won't fall apart, but when the goin gets tough, you want the strong men in charge. I believe that not just Bush, but his team are the ones that I am really glad are in place.

Who would you rather have as our leaders at a time like this?

Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Colin Powell, and John Ashcroft

or

Clinton, Gore, Cohen, Janet Reno and Madeline Allbright.

Or Gore's group of hangers on who are very similar to Clinton's.

Colin Powell...I think he'd make a great president in a situation like this.

George cemented any ill opinion of him by tearing up at that moment. It's hard not to.

I'd rather have Bill. I think war would be bad for everyone.

<< I'd rather have Giuliani myself >>

The Mayor of New York City has been one of the most sincere leaders displayed in a long time. I am still stunned by the not only the crashing of the World Trade Center Towers, but also by those that went into the inferno without hesitation. The FireFighters, the Police, the Emergency Response Teams. I have this vision of the Firefighters running up stairs with the occupants trying to rush out. I can't imagine ever doing something like that. I am in awe. Those few that decided to thwart the plans of the terrrorists that of the plane that crashed into Pennsylvania are special to me also. They deserve as much or more than the Medal of Honor.

Let's not forget another important man in Bush's group... Daddy Bush... he's seasoned for experiences like these. =)
