Personally, I'm taking the day off. Not watching TV all day, but to get caught up on academic and other work that needs doing. Not hiding, just remembering.

I woke up this morning to observe the three moments of silence, and am currently watching events on FOX News Channel. I'll get on the ball in the next hour or 2.

If the passengers of the 3 planes that crashed into the WTC and the Pentagon had the knowledge of what those cowards had in mind like the passengers of Flight 93 did, those planes might have gone down but they never would have reached their their ultimate destination.

I got up this morning, had breakfast, took a shower and came to work. Soon it will be time for lunch, then time to go home. This evening I'm going to a baseball game. I'll be damned if I ever let some rat bastard terrorist control my life or cause me to live in fear. They will all be burning in Hell before I bow down to them.

I'm at work (in a federal building no less) as usual. Our new director did give everyone two hours of administrative leave today, which I thought was nice. Planning to get together tonight with neighbors, grill and talk (can't get much more american than food cooked with fire, right).

My wife is flying to Missouri tonight for work, I'll confess I'm somewhat worried.
