I'm surprised at how easy it is. I think the first HL was better so far, but HL2 has it beat in graphics and definately physics. The first HL had more of a "scare" factor to it, as well as a better storyline (thus far). The characters in this one are pretty cool. It's interesting to see the character development between the two girls.

I agree. But I think it was because the genre was just starting. HL2 was still good.
Kingpin was a great game at the time too.

I may like it, provided the subsequent expansion(s) explain what the f%$# happened to the world. HL2 is a great first chapter to this volume of the Half-Life saga, but it's just that: a first chapter.

HL2 has a strange kind of storytelling, it's different from other games, but for me, it's nice.

I didn't find Ravenholm THAT scary, I mean, Doom 3 was waaaaay scarier for me. Sometimes I couldn't play it for more than 5 minutes when am alone at night with the lights turned off.

Yeah I played through ravenholm without realizing I had a flashlight.

Nothing beat running into complete darkness and getting the crap kicked out of you by god knows what.
