We're shutting down your engines, kids. Although there have been some thoughtful remarks in this thread, there have been far too many cocky, sneering posts praising an illegal, stupid, and potentially fatal activity.

OK, comeon. Was there a need to shut down that thread? Much worse things go on in here... How about that long ass thread a couple of weeks ago about people doing 100+ down the highway. Oh, I guess "speeding" isn't illegal:Q

It seems that the mods are letting their personal feelings affect them too much...

So the mods will probably think I'm revolting and lock this thread, but I just had to vent.

"Revolting" in the sense of "rebelling",
or "revolting" in the sense of "disgusting"?
Hmmm, how to choose?

As we stated clearly in the locked thread, there were too many praiseful comments about a practice which serves absolutely no useful purpose and endangers lives. No doubt there are many forums where one can spout off in favour of street racing. This is not one of them.
