Home owners associations are another one that can really irk me. I watch a new report on one association that was going to fine a homeowner because her garage door was devaluating other properties in her neighbor hood. They said something was wrong with it! Who in charge there. More idiots..

My moms school fired a very good teacher because he didn't strictly adhere to keeping the class for the full period.
1. this guy was very good and he knew his stuff.
2. he usually got through faster than the 3 hours the class was slotted for.
3. They skipped on breaks so the students could get home sooner. It was a night class.
4. The administration didn't care if the students had to sit there doing nothing, they wanted them to still be there till the end of class. More freaking idiots...

They're not idiots and they do understand common sense. Common sense tells them that the key to power is keeping the dumb masses happy through worthless laws and regulations that don't cost more to enforce (to keep a false positive to keep popularity up, of course sometimes the laws and regulations do nothing and cost billions to enforce), while they get the moron's vote and the money that goes with the position. Politics made easy.

you couldn't be more right the masses ARE asses and our goverment sure knows how to keep them that way. for example lets say your a poor black woman with three kids and no job, your on welfare youv'e gotten used to it and realy don't want to work. along comes the republican canadate for president saying that welfare recipients should be limited in the aid they get and are going to be requiered to find work. meanwhile the democratic canadate is for keeping welfare the way it is.... who do you think she's gonna vote for... the democrates know this situation all too well it's in there best intrest to keep black people poor so they can vote democratic and continue to recive there check. bottom line, politicans are experts at manipulation adn do so to their own ends.

This might be an interesting thread. It reminds me of a thread from last year when I asked why people don't vote, and many of the people here said they have no interest in politics, or voting. So the logical conclusion is that the idiots will take over, since they, dumb as they might be, understand that you have to be involved in the process.
