As a guy with a six figure salary and a luxury car, I'd have to say that I really don't give a fuck about people in the Middle East or Africa.
Also, I blame Bush. He may not be president anymore, but it's still his fault. Everything is his fault.
That's not true. What about Twinkies? You can't blame him for Twinkies!
Once known for six figure salaries and luxury cars, we are now known for not being able to pay off minor credit card debt.
Has the changing of the guard taken place?
Petition for a $$$$ sub-forum
I blame Obama.
Maybe we've forgotten what poor really feels like. Might do us some good.
Blame nixon and clinton.
Nixon got us talking to china again.
Clinton signed gatt and nafta.
I blame capitalism. Companies wanting to pinch every single penny at the expense of customers (products arn't so good, physical things break more often and need to be replaced etc) and at the expense of employees (lower salaries, pay cuts, layoffs etc).
The rich get richer and the poor get poorer, and the middle class stays the same but works very hard to stay there.
Also, I blame Bush. He may not be president anymore, but it's still his fault. Everything is his fault.
whenever i felt about complaining about life, my mother always said something like - what people earn here and the standard of living here is much better off than any country in middle east and most of asia and africa, so think about that and the millions of starving people in africa the next time you feel about complaining about life.
......and having been to most of the middle eastern and asian countries around the world, i agree with her.
life is never fair, though its upto us as to view it as a glass half empty or a glass half full.
People are still blaming Reagan, too. You realize that policies don't automagically change or go away every time we elect a new President, right? You also realize that the President doesn't create new legislation or change old legislation all by himself, right? It's amazing what people still blame Bush for. Obama has been in office for 5 years and he is still "bulletproof" on certain issues.
