It's just that I go into these convenience stores and it's SO CONSISTANT that it's ridiculous.

Like the Circle K by my work: They have a camera out as plain as sight taking pictures of the back of everyone's head... BUT NO VCR. It's hooked up to a monitor behind the counter plain as sight so a crook would shoot out that camera. But THEN there's a speaker box off to the side pointing straight at the person at the cash register.

SHOOT THE SPEAKER!!!

Let's say I'm a crook..... SURPRISE ME! Hide it in the Cheetos or something. Don't CONSISTANTLY, STORE AFTER STORE PUT IT IN THE PA BOX!

Pretender, those spheres are cameras that can record a full 360° panoramic view - they're just black to reduce glare

They're black so you can't see which way they are pointing. Saw that on a Discovery channel show about casinos.

The speaker connects to a central place I believe that they can talk to security people monitoring the place. I know cause I been there when they have. The camera also beems back vieo to those same security people.
