Unfortunately some cost more than others.
Some might remember when I made the unwise decision to use the moderator's account for my own purposes. Those who do know what kind of chaos this forum was going through for a few days afterwards. Some might think it was cool, just like I did.
But was it, really?
I thought, at the time, that what I was doing was right. I thought I had to do something to make the problem more evident so that it would be resolved. But why? No one at AT aside from Jason Clark had the power to make the changes that were required, and what I was doing was disrupting everything to make things even more complicated.
I had originally planned on informing them and leaving it be, but that's not how it went down. After some time I thought that it wasn't being taken seriously, so I did the unthinkable. It created a lot of trouble for a lot of people. to start, Harvey, the head admin, was defending me at the very beginning when I first entered the Bat Cave uninvited. He knew that my intentions were well and that I was simply trying to help. After all that defense, what did I do? I screwed him over. He had convinced the others to trust me and I just turned around and did it all over again. Sure, I thought it would be awesome to go out in glory, trumping MacBaine, but it cost me more than I would have liked it to.
I lost any trust I may have once had. I lost a great forum which I spent the majority of my day posting on, as well as most of the people I knew here.
The only thing I can do at this point is apologize. I betrayed the trust others had given me, and I did it in the worst way possible. It's pretty evident that it would be foolish to even consider doing it again.
DerekWilson has been by advocate in this situation. He heard what I had to say and presented my case to the other moderators. Without his help, I would never have been able to make up for the mistakes I've made. I've caused a lot of trouble for a lot of people, and for that, I'm sorry.
