We all do realize Bill Clinton will be running the show?

After the coronation, I doubt Bill is even in the same state as Hillary.

Which goes equally for anyone with a brain and a private jet.

I'm grateful to Obama if for no other reason than to break up the family dynasty game of bouncing the ball back and forth in politics.

I seem to recall folks saying in the 90s that Hillary was making a lot of decisions anyway.
Does she really seem like the sort of woman to just roll over and let him be the boss?

Pfft!

Like Willie C wants any of that drudgery again.

Her Grand Exhaulted Highness, "WE are the president" wanted to run the show the first time around.

Now that her preordained destiny to be crowned is about to come to pass, she's not letting Willie anywhere near the helm.

And why would he want to be?

The first First Dude?? Perfect gig. Even Trump isn't making out this good from this rigged shit-show.

Its just 4 years at least of his coat over his shoulder... smokin' stoagies, sampling interns, living large like a pimp at the top of the D.C. ruling class heap.

Last thing Willie C needs is Hillary harshing that gig in any way. I bet the deal is something like: he stays away from the oval office... she stays away from the "First Dude Clubhouse."

Are you Kidding? Bill will be the first lady. He is going to be in Milf heaven. All those first lady type things traditionally are hosted by womens organizations. It will like a fox in the hen house or in this case a wolf.

Bill should just retire to Jeff Epstein's island. All the young tail he could ever want.

Oh, so your saying a woman can't run a country or be a president?
Not smart enough? Too busy doing her hair?
Just maybe Hillary WAS running the show under Bill.
After all, Bill just squeaked by with getting elected in 1992, then in 1996 people apparently liked and trusted enough to re-elect Bill with a much higher percentage.
So maybe Hillary pulled Bill aside and told Bill to sit down and shut up, as she took over.

Which brings up another point of note.
Every time a Clinton runs for office, the first win is very close.
But the re-election turns out as a hands down major victory.
Which should tell people something, that when people give the Clinton's a chance, they always like what they get, and the re-election is a no brainer.

As republicans demonize Hillary this time around, if she should manage to get elected you can bet she will glide through re-election come 2020.
Because fact is, all the crap tossed around fear mongering a Clinton simply doesn't prove true in the real world.
People can be confused and fearful when first electing a Clinton, but once in service all the fear and confusion goes away and people actually like what they see and what they get.
Even with a sex scandal and a failed impeachment attempt, Bill was easily re-elected.
People disregard all the nonsense and reward the achievements.
If people elect Hillary this time around, they will easily re-elect Hillary next time around.
That is the fact of Clinton history.

First, I believe in "class struggle" because James Madison recognized it as a factor.

Second, neither Bill nor Hill came up from Romney beginnings. Middle-classers from Hope and a Chicago suburb.

Third, I was fairly disgusted with the second Bush presidency before the decision by the Supremes over the Florida vote.

"We're a classless society! We don't have any classes!"

Followed by "Ah'm glad to be here with my [Carlyle Group] base -- the Haves and Have Mores!"

Hillary's run at the White House first left me a bit limp, because it "seems" dynastic. But you'd expect this, anyway.

She "has plans" for Bill.

Point of it: You WANT to elect a president who sees all, knows all, can drill down through the bureaucracy in an instant and micro-manage everything. You THINK somehow that sooner or later, we'll find God in a president, because that's what that sort of naivete gets you.

You elect a team of people. Before O, we had a horse-show manager as FEMA director. We got several klutzes in that bargain. How would that be?

If your "philosophy" is always anti-government, you subconsciously wouldn't want government to work even if you could make it so. Is there a subliminal message from the Pillory-Hillary Committee about the e-mails? Sure! If you're a Dem in an appointed or elected office -- don't take your work home with you! Can't have you doing that!

The more I think of it, assuming it would be as Hillary described it the other night, the Two-for is better than right.

Spooge on the dress with issues and the whole impeachment debacle notwithstanding, the man has talent, experience and wisdom.

That's more than I can say about the Asshole running this year who thinks he can do it all himself. He's an Asshole NOW, and he'll be an Asshole after (god forbid) he gets elected. And if that happens, I intend to tell everyone, everyday, everywhere -- what a god-awful asshole he is.

And who started this descent into disrespect and acrimony? The GOP lovers were the ones who elected President Cornpone in the first place. You want to stop it? Then stop being insane with your choices!

I can see Bill acting like a spokesman. He's good at explaining stuff in simple terms, which is what Hillary is not so good at.

See? Now that sounds like a objective assessment. He's been doing that sort of thing all through the campaign, and long before it.

I didn't vote for him at first. I was beginning to wake up from being a sleepwalking brain-dead news-zombie during the '90s. On his second pass, and after his State of the Union that year followed by Bob Dole's very uncomfortable body language in the rebuttal, I went around and collected $100 bets on the election from all the Repubs I knew in the office. I cleaned up.

But because of the Parade of Elephants' Circus of the late '90s impeachment era, and because of the Tea Party and subliminal racism I've only discovered these last eight years, we've lost great opportunities with both of these men -- Bill and Barack.

I can't say it about Bill, but O is so great, Bill would agree that you'd have to stand on his shoulders just to kiss O's ass. And I'd say if Bill were standing on Bush's shoulders, you'd need to add a footstool under Bush just to plant one. Negative stature, you see . . . .

Throw Trump into the circus act, and you'd have to fill a deep hole before adding the footstool and the rest of it.

I remember this too people were saying Hillary was too involved in Bills decisions. I can't find anything now other than "Billary".

Pretty much this. Bill Clinton has an almost supernatural charisma. He'd probably also be an unofficial Secretary of State sent to other countries as an emissary on issues that don't require a lot of formality to start the wheels going on agreements that would later be formally finalized by the actual Sec. of State.

Agreed. Hey, at least we dodged Jeb! Bush.

Of course, anything that slow should be easy to dodge, but still.
