WD WinBook filling too fast

I'm trying to back up two drives to a 2TB WinBook. The two drives hold a total of about 450GB of data, (100+350). The capacity of the 2TB WinBook I saw somewhere is about 1.8TB, and I'm doing this with no compression, since I thought there was more than enough room. I got 2/3 of the way through the second drive and got a message from Macrium Reflect that I'd run out of space. There is nothing else on the WinBook except for it's own files. What's going on here? Why would the drive be running out of space? Thanks.

You might just want to run a Windows copy paste and see what it gets stuck on.

Are you copying OS installs or just data (not meaning to devalue the data in any way)?

I'm imaging the C: drive, OS and data, plus 350B of data on E:

K. What does the space look like if you backup one drive at a time?

You might have imaging set to store based on the drive size, including empty sectors.

Try turning on compression if you want images, or use Explorer and copy-paste if you just care about data files.
