WD Scorpio Black 7200rpm - Are there others?

When refurbishing laptops that have had their HDDs removed, I prefer to buy used 500GB WD Black Scoripos. The 7200RPM 16MB cache and whatever under the hood magic makes these mechanical drives very good for not being SSD;s.

What other brands have good 7200RPM mobile drives?

It is just their spindle speed/platter density that makes them faster than the lower RPM drives, no magic here.

Basically, all makers make 7200 RPM laptop drives.

What I meant is, as fast as the scorpio black. I was a die hard fan of the hitachi travelstar 7200 rpm drives and left them behind kicking and screaming once I got my hands on a few scorpios.

Hitachi made 7200rpm 2.5" drives for laptops as well. I believe the largest size was 1TB.
