In the taskbar it has the option to safely remove the device, just like it would for my ipod. Any idea how to remove this, since im not going to be removing the disk
 
I think it happens if you elect to install the SW IDE drivers with the NF4 drivers. If you say "no" when the driver installation asks if you want to install the Nvidia SW IDE drivers then you won't see that in the taskbar.
