WD RaptorX

I remember seeing a case that had a rack to mount a raptor x right up front of the case so it would be visible through the front pannel. I want to say it was either an antec or a silverstone. Besides that, i've seen quite a few guys cut a windows into the top of the case and mount their raptor up there in a 5.25 bay with an adapter. Besides that you're going to have to get very custom and the sky's the limit.

Mountain Mods.

And i believe its the horizon with a raptor X plate mount.
 
Lian Li cases with vertical HDD cages can show the window too. One of the mod sites had a custom Lian Li plate for like $9.99 about a year ago. You cut out the part of the cage according to their template, then attach the custom Raptor X plate. Looks really good too. Might be able to find similar or even use the Lian Li one. Sorry, don't have a link handy.

The top of the U2 has a window which allows you to view the hard drive cage from the top.

The horizon has a side mount option. i cant find it tho... but it allowed the raptor to be mounted sideways showing off the top.

LianLi also makes one as someone listed on top. However the ones i see most common are the mountain mods horrizon with the raptor mounted sideways showing off the window and spindle.
 
If you get an X-Qpack style case with side windows the HDD window will be visible.

That's because my current LAN party rig is in an X-Qpack2 with a Raptor X visible from the side. I even cut away a bit of the aluminum chassis and am running the cables behind the faceplate, so the HDD is turned around with no cables visible behind it in the CPU area.
 
doesnt the CM 830/832 have a top plexiglass replacement/ holder especially for a raptorx? I think its actually the CM 830 Evolution, check it out!
