WD Raptor warranty

so since this drive is classified as an enterprise HD you can't go through normal online methods to obtan an RMA? On theur site, when checking warranty status, the drive results say "0 drives eligeable for replacement," lists it as "scsi" and to call for info. weird....


...lists exp date of warranty as may 2008, thats a good sighn

They were just released in late April and my guess is "Officially" in May @ outlets with a 5 yr warranty so that would explain the May 2008 and their Website prolly hasn't been updated for PN's and Serial#'s . hey it's WD so I have no worries about them honoring my Drives

5 year warranty on a harddrive is nice. I think I might pick one of these up for my os and games, have to see though, might go the scsi route.
