WD RAPTOR (retail) Turn your SIIG 2ch SATA into RAID!

Just thought I'd share something here...

The SATA controler in the retail package of the WD Raptor can be turned into a 2 channel RAID controler by re-flashing with the raid bios... No other changes needed...

Get your new bios "AND DRIVERS" at www.siliconimage.com > product support

You know what to do... But in case you don't >> go to the 'downloads' section in the side menu... Choose SiI3112A under the "bios" option / SiI3x12 under the "drivers" options for your files (flashing utilities are in there too, although I used the utility from the SIIG.com website...
