WD Raptor $109.99 @ Fry's

This isn't Hot per se, buts it's decent. I picked up the 36gb Raptor today for that price. 72GB is 209 after 30 MIR.
 
Problem is, the 36gb Raptor isn't very much faster (if at all!) than a new 7200RPM hard drive. 36gb -> 72gb wasn't just a storage upgrade - it was a new generation of Raptors. Just look at how much lower seek time went!

It really was a reasonable drive when it first came out, but it's been long surpassed by slower-RPM drives with higher platter densities and caches. You are really, really wasting your money buying it. Anand's review:

Remember that this was more than a year ago, and we've gone through at least one more generation of 7200RPM drives.

... Actually, if I recall, there was an older version of the 36gb that was updated along with the 72gb version. These Rev 2 drives are the only variety you can buy in either 36gb or 72gb, and they're both fast.
