For re-certified, maybe. $129 + tax out the door (from Costco) is a great price.

Thanks OP.

Re-certified? WTF?

At least 6 new units for less than a hundred bucks in the last month.

Do the search.

I guess you missed the memo (and the point). Auction sites aren't considered "Hot Deals". It's wonderful that you located 6 units which have gone at such a low price in the past month on eBay, but that's little consolation for anyone who needs this drive now.

In other words, thanks for crapping on OP's thread...

Hmm, can you tell me why you would consider my message a thread crap on a 3 day old dead thread? Do you believe that pointing out that auctions on new drives go for substantially less than this "hot deal" is not useful information? While posting auctions as "hot deals" is not looked upon favourably here, I see no reason why my point should be in any way censored. I normally do not consider any deal that would lose me money on eBay as "hot". Dude, do your homework, relax, live and let live.

And of course, you are free to spend more money on this "hot" Costco deal.

BTW, I am looking for a drive such as this one, and did see it at Costco today, but decided to make sure it is a "deal". It is not for me , but if it is for you and maybe other people, congratulations.
