Hey Darnell :)

WD My Cloud is a NAS and as such it can be accessed by multiple devices with different OSs and by different applications. The device works perfectly fine on Windows 10 both with the WD My Cloud app and with other tools. It is also compatible with the older versions of the OS and with Mac OS. :)
How are you planning on using the device? I would recommend updating it to the latest Firmware version once you set it up.

Post back if you need any help :)

Something is wrong now. When I click on WD My Cloud Public Share, I get this network error. It says Windows cannot access \\192.168.0.14\Public. Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise there might be a problem with your network. To try to identify and resolve network problems, Click diagnose. When I click Diagnose it says "Problem found' Then it says one or more network protocols are missing on this compiter. I have no idea what happened. It worked fine before

Is there a reason that you are accessing the NAS using the server IP address rather than the NetBIOS / DNS server name?

If your router, or the MyCloud device has been rebooted recently, it may have pulled a new, different, Dynamic IP address from your router, and you will have to use that new IP address.

If the device is still showing up at that IP address, then I'm not quite sure what to tell you.

I've not really messed around or mastered Windows 10's network stuff, other than the basics, so I'm not sure what to tell you about "missing networking protocols". Do you have both IPv4, and IPv6 installed?

Hey again :)

If the NAS is up and running on the same network where you have your computer, running WD My Cloud application should give you the correct IP address of the NAS and you can access it from there. As VirtualLarry pointed out, there may have been a new IP assigned to the NAS for one reason or another.

When you run the app, the should be a button "Search for new devices in my network" on the bottom right part of the window. This should allow the app to detect any WD NAS devices on that network and you should see their IP under the name in the center of the app.

Accessing your router should also give you the info which devices are connected to it and their IPs. You should be able to see the NAS there. :)
