I've been looking for a few cheap NAS drives for my family, and I figure this will do. I know a lot of reviews mention firmware issues, but for me I just want to map to it and use client side software to backup data to it, so I don't really care about the on board backup options or webgui.
 
I've had a 2TB MyBookLive hooked up for over a year without any problems. It is great for anyone looking for a very low-maintenance network drive.

It runs Debian Lenny and there are mods out there for people who are into that kind of stuff.
