WD Live Hub and Roku box

Think of getting a cheap roku box for the daughter for Xmas, will it play files of a live hub over the wireless network. Doesn't seem to be alot of got information out there.

You'd probably be better off getting a WDTV Live Streaming box for $85. It looks like the Roku isn't DLNA compatible, so you'd be stuck doing transcoding into something like the Plex channel, which I don't believe the WDTV Live Hub has the horsepower (or software) to do.

The live hub works great as a media server. I do have one WD box hooked up to it as well as the computer. It would be nice to do it wirelessly running a cable would be a pain.

Roku is not the best choice for streaming from local sources, I like the WD's a lot better for that.
