WD caviar black 6gb/s or seagate XT 6gb/s ?

Seagate is really Maxtor, its cheap stuff, do not get that, get WDC , thx gg and gl,

I have an old 120gb Maxtor drive that still works. It was made in 2003 and served a ton of time in my PVR.

I've heard that Seagate was having quality problems lately, but I was willing to give them a chance on their new 640gb platter drives.

I have used seagate which failed abt 6months ago + the seagate service is also poor here in india.

the diff i found in seagate n WD green was the speed, seagate barracuda's are faster than green WD's of same specifications.

just confused, does the diff of 32 n 64 MB buffer counts in HDD ?
i mean wht will the performance diff of 32 n 64MB buffer HDD's ?

The 64mb buffer is better, however the performance difference is negligible in the vast majority of cases.
