WD 80GB External HD $50 AR

hmmm. How is Fry's/Outpost with Rebates? I'm tempted to jump on this, because I've been needing an external HDD for a while now, but I HATE mail in rebates. As far as I'm concerned, when it comes to MIRs, the price you pay is the real price, and you shouldn't expect to get the rebate back.

Is Fry's punctual with em (i.e. 6 - 8 weeks at most)? Do they dodge? Pull the usual ripoff stuff?

If they're actually good about the rebates, I might be in.
 
This model is actually $119.99 at Fry's B&M (at least in Texas), so for
once Outpost has it for lower, but with shipping it wouldn't be worth
returning and ordering it. Too bad Fry's won't PM Outpost.
 
I've had poor experience with Fry's rebates. Unless it's a manufacturer's rebate for a BIG company, I'd stay away.
