WD 320GB HD showing 8MB/sec transfer rate in PCMARK05

I just put this build together:
Asus P5B-Deluxe
e6400
2Gb Patriot DDR2800
Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD3200KS 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

When I run PCMARK05, I get a score of around 6400 but it is telling me on my HDD tests that I am getting a transfer rate of 8MB/sec (XP startup and normal use). I can't seem to figure it out. The drive doesn't seem to be slowing me down in normal use, but that number just got me a little freaked out when I expected at least 80-100 mb/sec.

Any ideas what might be wrong?

Device manager shows no problems with it, though I do have a ! by Other Devices > SM Bus Controller. Not sure what it is as of now since it seems like everything is running fine other than the HD.

Help a newbie out...PIO/DMA??? What is that??

Well, i run it on there and get different results (more along the line of what I was expecting):

Random Access: 13.0ms
CPU utilization: 3%
Average Read: 56.1 MB/s

So, does it seem like everything is ok? OR am I a little lower than expected?

You need to tell us what chipset you're running so we can get that SMbus driver installed. That's what's holding you back. When I was running just one 3200KS I remember getting around 65MB/sec or so.

I can't remember 100% but the SMbus controller is what controls how your HDs talk to the rest of your system. Pretty important.

North Bridge Intel P965 Express
South Bridge Intel ICH8R

I went through the disk that came with the MOBO and didn't see anything else that it looked like I needed. Any ideas??
