I have a computer that I built a year or 2 back.

AMD 3000+ Venice
ASUS A8R-MVP
2GB RAM
X800 AIW

Is there ANY reason, at all, why the 1 terabyte hard drive won't work on this computer.

Probably not, but there were some concerns published earlier about the WD 1 TB HDD having some sort of DRM on it. Better check that out. I could be all wet, but I wouldn't buy one without knowing what was going on with it.
