WCPUID Reboots my computer - help??

I read about wcpuid and decided to try it so I downloaded it and installed it, but when I try to open the program my computer reboots with no warning! Any suggestion/or reasons this would happen?

Not that big of a deal, but I WANNA KNOW WHY IT DOES THAT

Maybe the programmer set it not to work after a certain date?

Programmer would have it reboot the computer....that would just be silly, and stupid. What if you accedentally clicked it, while you were halfway through a 20 page paper, and were stupid enough not to save it? Kabam, gone.

When I upgraded from my 8K7A and T-Bird 1.2Ghz to a 8K3A and 1600+ mine it also crashed and rebooted for me... upgrading fixed it for me.

that is weird! do you guys have windows error-reboot enabled or disabled? at least that way you could tell excatly what the stop error is etc.
