I noticed something on my main rig (G630, GT430, 4GB DDR3, 120GB SSD), while running WCG.
I have it set to pause GPU WUs, unless there has been 3 minutes of inactivity.
I noticed that after I move the mouse, use the system (WU goes on pause), then stop using the system, the WU starts over at 1%.
I have "Leave applications in memory while suspended" checked under Preferences.
I also set checkpointing, to 600 seconds, rather than 60.
I thought Checkpointing only took effect, if BOINC crashed, or was shut down in any way, and had to be restarted.
I didn't think that apps depended on checkpointing, just to resume from a paused state.
Is this something specific to WCG HCC WUs, or GPU WUs in general, or BOINC in general?
