and by the time we see it (end of q2) amd will be arming the hd 8000 series of start of q3.. aint life wonderful.. get amd now.. or get nvidia later.. by which time amd will have a new lineup on its way. nvidia atm has no cards to play beyond the 560ti (that are worth buying) especially with the 7970 debuting in 2 days on store shelves. and in the event u live in asia, the middle east or russia nvidia has nothing worth buying atm hoho
these are lofty goals at best, even if their met amd will have more than an effective counter following nvidia's every move.

ten bucks they also have heat problems.. as nvidia's track record has shown.. dropping die sizes at the fab. often results in gen 1 heat, power or noise problems.. sometimes explosions
1) 470 and 465 also had pretty bad heat and other than the 460 there were NO good cards in fermi 1.0 and in refresh they epic failed south of the gtx 560 (no ti(wtf is up with their naming scheme trying to bring back the xt, gtx , etc. wars??))Cool story bro.

facts are facts and the gtx480/470/465 were loud, hot and power hungry when released. as usual though some people will buy anything no matter what so Nvidia had no trouble selling them.

Why are you linking something from fudzilla? 580 included dedicated hardware circuitry that will throttle during furmark tests, so this is obviously wrong as every reputable site will show you.

I don't see anything wrong with this post. The specs are the same as of a reference HD7970 model, Only thing different in the pictures is the 2 x 6 pin connectors and a Red PCB. That's because the card they pictured was in Engineering Phase, Not the retail variant.
