The updated Intel Consumer Product Roadmap for the remainder of 2015 and the first half of 2016 has leaked out; courtesy of the folks over at XFastest forums. It not only confirms our previous leaks about the Skylake launch date (5th August) but reveals additional details about product placement and also confirmation on the Broadwell-E platform, which will feature up to 8 cores, all based on the 14nm Process.

I do not think the "big" Zen with 32c/64t is supposed to show up until 2017, if ever. That was one of the products mentioned at the Japanese expo where AMD first started talking about the 200-300W Zen-based APU . . .

Lame that they're not including a 10 core option.

Ivy Bridge-E didn't increase core count over Sandy Bridge-E for the extreme line of processors, so this doesn't surprise me.

P.S. I'll bet the Xeon Workstation situation ends up the same with E5 2687W v4 simply being a higher clocked version of E5 2687W v3, both processors with ten cores.

Heh, and we just had a rumor that BDW-E was cancelled. The greater uncertainty about Intel's roadmap going forward only leads to more (and conflicting) rumors!
