What I (and most people here) are most interested in is, what will be the best performing desktop CPU with or without OC.

I'd be happy to get a BW-K if there is no Skylake high performance part. That means I can keep my DDR3 for a bit longer too. But I need to know that the SL-K part isn't coming 2 months later.

Not a major leap from old archi. I'll stick with my config for years to come. All I do is browse and watch bluray movies mostly on Kodi.
