WC3 map editor question

How the hell do you remove something (like a bridge) once you put it down? It's way too late to undo :\

oh yeah .. and how do you set a player position? I'm probably calling it the wrong thing, but when you start a game and the map starts to load it displays the map and then there are x's for where the players are .. how do you mark those points on the map?
