WC: Resv and Radiator combo functionality

In looking at the pictures and diagrams of how the Zalman Reserator 1 is assembled (pump placement internally, etc) one question jumps to my mind: given that the pump intake is so close to the outlet for the return (heated) water, how does the pump not just pull in the same heated water almost immediately?

Sure, the theoretical design is that th heated water rises and all that, but with the pump sucking it in right there where the heated water enters the resv, wouldn't the suction of the pump just pull alot of the heated water right back into the circuit?
