ways to speed up win98 and @home cable modem

You can try speedguide.net as well, way too much information there for any one lifetime. BTW, nothing will speed up the modem, just the way the computer asks for and processes information. Not trying to be picky, but this is a tech forum after all. 😎

use download accelerator it will connect to where you are downloading to with multiple streams greatly increasing your download speed. use 2 or 4 streams 'cause any more isn't much faster because it just uses more CPU speed and slows down your hard drive.
