Ways to get around software block

The it admins at work have taken it too far now! I plugged in my usb key as usual to boot up firefox portable and discover they have now blocked the use of exe's. I have tried renaming it to firefox.com or to firefox.bat but both of these are blocked. Do you have any other file extensions/ways I can get this to work?
 
Posting to circumvent security is frowned up / not allowed. The best thing to do is talk to the IT guys are your work if you have the need to run Firefox.
