I'm running a ICS gateway server for my network that is left on 24/7 and I "think" it is jacking up my power bill. I'm not totally sure, but last month my power bill was around 20% higher than usual. Other than having the hard drives shut down, what can I try to conserve power?
btw: Its not a power system by any means:
P233MMX
Tyan Tomcat III AT mobo
80megs EDO simms
2gig
Linksys 10/100Mbit PCI NIC (network)
Kingston 10Mbit PCI NIC (DSL)
2 meg S3 Virge (no monitor)
Win2k Pro
HEEELLLLPPPPPP!
btw: I know this isn't exactly a networking question, but I figured you network gurus would be the masters at this type of stuff!
