I think I get the OP's gist, but he's stating it in a profoundly stupid manner.

I believe he's talking about poser ass bitches (you know the ones, take black and white pictures, have a couple of tattoos that show how deep they are, wears shirts that say they <3 nerds, hack their friends facebook accounts, wear glasses when they don't need them, maybe have someone take "sexy" pictures of them, buy boxes of wine and drink a glass twice a week which makes them alcoholics).

i drink about a bottle a week and it gets a little /off/ by the 7th day.... you're saying box wine keeps better? good news to me. and if it's cheaper that's even more awesome. I buy the cheapest wine i can get...$1.99, that's my drink right there and i get 10&#37; off when i buy 6! good for a month and a half!

No, the OP isn't referring to that.

The OP lives near a smallish university in a small town. The uni's enrollment is around 20K, which is about the population of the county the uni's in without the students.

And he's referring to all the college fresmen, sophs, etc. women that aren't manly enough drinking boxed wine, which is another thing he really looks down on.


Naturally, what the OP isn't considering is that: they're broke assed college students. Even the girls are broke, just like the guys. So boxed wine is, for that demographic, a perfect alternative. Lasts longer, doesn't have the drawbacks for storage like bottles, etc.

Second, how else are women supposed to act when drinking wine? Like guys? If they were like that, they'd be guys in the first place. OP's expectations are farr off-base, if not deluded.

Third, who cares how they drink anything? Does the way women drink wine or any other drink affect how you drink yours? Or is it they are beginning to influence your drinking habits and you're afraid of becoming overly emo or "girlish"?

Hmm. I think you're right. He seems to be bothered that its mostly women into wine which of course is an affront to his masculinity or something. Then apparently he's trying to be a wine snob at the same time.

I assumed he actually had something beyond such a stupid simple minded rant and then based it on my own experience (girls in college that drank wine were poser ass bitches).

I think what the OP is trying to say is that...

Wine is bad, it turns you into a total pussy. You shouldn't drink.

That's my interpretation anyway.

A more detailed analysis is that alcohol made the OP impotent, shrinking his shrinky parts to the point where he looked down at himself and saw himself as a woman and started to play with his man boobs. At that point, the bouncers asked him to leave the bar.

Personally, I didn't notice this commodity until I started seeing my SO buys that stuff. I'm ok with drinking it, but for manly reasons I'd probably buy a bottle than a box.

Girly- Picks up empty boxes, pound one another until a Nail breaks or jewelry goes missing
