WAY too many OT threads in FS/T forum

Mods, I think it's time for you to step up to the plate. I think at one point today there were four (4) OT threads on page one!!
 
This has always been a pet peeve of mine. They knock down legitimate threads. I am a big proponent of a sub forum (OT) for the FS/T Forum.
 
I am not convinced a sub-forum inside of FS/FT is the answer, but nor do I have a better idea.

The OT threads have gotten a bit much and with the 4 hour rule to prevent the power bumpers, the honest FS/FT/WTB threads disappear quickly.
 
Good example
He posted first in FS/T then made a thread here when it was pointed out to him. Now he and others are still bumping the thread in FS/T.
 
I dunno about others, but I was posting until it was seen by a mod. I know ya'll can't sit there 24/7, so wanted to make sure. As soon as the issue was being addressed, I stopped.

Does kinda seem like a lot of calling out going on, doesn't it?

Maybe a stickied thread for callouts and troll announcements? Kinda like the job thread on OT, or Brag&Moan on Hot Deals?

There is alot of calling out going on.
While others (we) were bumping the thread in question, your thread was going down the list. I PMd a Mod so they would know about it, instead of bumping it to keep it up for them.
Then I bumped yours for you. 🙂

 
Troll threads are kinda an exception.
When traders are getting screwed, these threads can often help alot.

I'm just annoyed by the many other OT threads.
Two of Anandtech FS/T's greatest traders have recently had B-days.
Are we really going to start posting all these "OT: Happy Birthday" threads?
OT threads get TONS of replies too. Once you get a few going, they really begin to push down actual Sale/Trade threads.

There are so many examples. I think recently more and more of these threads are getting started.
