Way too hot??? Help please :(

Hey guys.

I have a Tbird 750@1100@1.85v on an Abit KT7-Raid. I can't use motherboard monitor, because I don't have the HD in the box yet .. but looking at the BIOS temp readings I get 57C idle!

This is with Vantec HSF & Artic Silver (got it from PCNut).

What should I do? Is this way out of the ordinary?

hmm make sure the heatsinc is fiting properly on the cpu. Other than that all I can say is get an alpha.
