It seems to me this "random" appearance may have been strategically planned at a time where everyone "should" be thanking Trump for baghdadi's killing. If that was their plan, it did not work. At all.

Umm, how much of a "random appearance" could be when there was only up to 3 WS games being played in DC? There was a 1/3 chance he might appear at Game 5 (vs. Games 3 or 4) had he decided to go. I dislike Trump myself but let's not give him credit for some master "strategic planning" tactic when it's patently obvious it's a skill he doesn't possess to any degree whatsoever. Trump doesn't even have the "strategic planning" ability to not say something stupid unless he glues his mouth shut. He's a brand new walking meme #FailPOTUS.

I hear you and in many ways you're right but I can't help but take satisfaction when someone who clearly enjoys inflicting suffering on other people is made to feel even a small consequence for that.
Pretty much this. I guess that makes me a bad person, but being booed at a baseball game is the very smallest of consequences for all of his actions.

I also suspect due to his narcissism and by how heavily curated his schedule is he genuinely doesn't realize how widely disliked he is so there's that.
And THIS! I really think, from his bigly enabled bubble/cocoon that he thought, "Baseball: Male sports fans of our most traditionally American game will all LOVE me, almost as much as I LOVE me."

Who doesn't cherish their 1992 Ryan Klesko rookie card and separating children at the border?

^^^ Not Ryan Klesko. Probably not Norwegian, either.

Also telling that with an average ticket price of something like $500 per seat, and upwards of $3k, most of this crowd is the 1%er unicorns that are most likely to have actually benefited from his phantom "tax cuts"...and they still clearly hate him.

And lol that those dudes behind home plate, paying $3k or more for those seats brought their own anti-Trump banner.

Is that real? I'm especially curious about the "hundreds of thousands that showed up in the parking lot, just to celebrate [Trump]"

That can't be real, can it? Of course, I fully accept that it is possible.

It's not

I don't accept it. If there were "hundreds of thousands" of people crammed into ANY ballpark parking lot for ANY reason, it would have made the news.

Welcome to your post Presidency Mr. President.
He wants to live the big life in NY or maybe CA. There is no way he will be welcomed to anything and either place.
He could relocate to some shit hole State and be fawned over but he will be in a shit hole State with a bunch of hillbillies (in his own mind). Maybe he could live a decent life in FL but the city life is what he wants and I doubt it will be easier for him in Miami.

He'll buy friends, lovers, and admirers, as he's always done

Just remember, folks, that what you're seeing and what you're hearing isn't what's really happening. Believe Me! Believe *in* Me! I am your voice! I alone can fix it!

At least he didn't get pelted with hot dogs.

I heard SOROS and BEZOS bought 1000s of Sears for Antifa to stage the booing and chanting. People are saying. Also, most people in the crowd were chanting “LOCK HER UP!!” but lefty media types edited the audio so it was drowned out.

I have zero doubt these will be tried, and believed by many.

It is about damn time people started getting sick and tired of all the crap. But part of me is sad because this is caused by the division he created. It's all a distraction that makes him happy as they pick our pockets and take our freedoms. It also makes his buddy Vlad very happy.

The deep state has penetrated spectator sports so far it can manufacture fake audiences at the drop of a mega hat.

Remember: crisis actor children from Sandy Hook performed a Superbowl half time show.

Feel bad for the deplorables
They can’t watch take a knee football, now baseball plus seems like the only music they can safely listen to is Kanye West and his Kardashian wife plus the chick from clueless are the only stars they can support.

Pathetic. Simply pathetic.

Now they are crafting a conspiracy theory to explain why a random audience in America would boo him.

Boo-urns indeed.

At this point, who cares what Trump thinks or feels?

Instead, the Clueless Base might more likely catch the video clip of the World Series and the presidential presence, no matter what channel they're watching, and certainly if watching any sports channel featuring the World Series. THEY are the ones who attended rallies shouting "Lock her up!" in referring to Clinton. THEY are the ones who swallow the nonsense about Trump's polls, and THEY are the ones who argued that "3 million illegal aliens in California meant 3 million fraudulent votes in the state."

So an entire stadium of sports fans makes boos and catcalls at their Dear Leader. Impressive. And what had been the attendance at any typical Trump rally after his inauguration? The part of the Base who attended any of those rallies would take note. And they finally get slapped back in the face with a Lockup chant.

Someone tell me -- what would be the obstacles to boosting MSNBC's weekend ratings once Trump is convicted for tax fraud and myriad other crimes, by giving him an entire season-worth of "MSNBC Lockup" exposure? If the episodes and their content were controlled to make it harder for Trump to stir up the Base arguing for a reprieve and political come-back, would it not be a positive thing for public opinion?

Certainly -- it would have "educational" value . . . . They could get Bill Maher or Al Franken to conduct the interviews.

In the meantime, this is priceless. Consider that it's a lot different than the cell-phone video of a then-governor W. Bush picking his nose and licking his finger at a Rangers game. In that situation, it is obvious nobody was paying attention at the time except the fellow who recorded the video -- focused on Bush. But in this case, EVERYBODY is focused on Trump, and EVERYBODY in the stadium (or so it seems) is reacting in unison. With Bush, it was a matter of someone with playful malice focused on an official doing something crude and puerile. With Trump, thousands of people direct unanimous revulsion for a uniquely malicious leader.

The thing that makes me sad is Turmp won't live long enough to see the legacy his name will carry. I recall seeing something about how Hitler's name became THE insult. It was actually talking about who was that person before Hitler (basically asking who was so extraordinarily despised that you need just mention them and it'd conjure basically the shittiest of shit). If I remember right that person was "the Pharaoh" (the biblical one that cast out the Jews).

Turmp's name will live on, but it'll be synonymous with stuff like prolapsed assholes, hemorrhoids, finally proctologists will have a go to for describing the various things they see (I had a patient, he really Turmped himself, he had an entire doll shoved up there!), Big Mac shits (oh man I had to take the biggest Turmp after eating that Big Mac!), the specific instance of rich men raping and sexually assaulting persons (the #MeToo movement was marked for exposing a litany of Turmpists, using their wealth and power to prey on dozens of victims), paying porn stars for extramarital affairs (Charlie Sheen and Tiger Woods both got caught Turmping), posts raging about bullshit while being racist or just a gigantic moron (Rosanne in a fit of Turmpering blamed it on Ambien), and I'm sure there will be many many more versions.

Oh awesome, yet another forum issue. Now when I italicize something it randomly italicizes things that aren't highlighted (but skips to like the next paragraph?). Add that to Bold not working at all and writing comments causes stupid levels of resource utilization (causes my CPU and GPU use to go up, the longer the comment box is active the worse it gets, I usually stop when it's pushing 40% for both because that seems to be about when the fans become loud enough to hear no matter what I have playing or if I have headphones on). No idea if it'd keep going up (are they fucking mining or some shit?).

I do like how one of the Scripts its trying to run is for Purch.
