It's between 95-100 in the Chicago area today and it's not even July. What the hell is with this crap?

Thankfully it's not super humid, but heat index has broken 100...

I am not looking forward to the walk from the office to my car.

WINTER COME BACK!
I miss my snow and ice and freezing ass cold.

Here in KY we didn't have a spring. Went from cold, to two weeks of rain/floods, to BAM! 95+ everyday.

Parts of Texas are already in the triple digits. For this time of year, that is not common. We usually do not see 100s until July or August.

A couple of weeks ago I was talking to a guy who works for a Texas Parks and Wildlife fish hatchery. He told me the fish spawned about 3 weeks early due to the hot weather we had back in March and April.

Well, KY is "the south" so I'd say it's expected to be kinda hot there ....
We're well into yankee territory here, I'm only 20 miles from Wisconsin border...
Of course the Twin Cities in MN supposedly hit 101 today.... sigh...

Must be all of the hot air that Dave produces.
How can we stop him?

Well, to be honest, winters have been really quite mild, like barely getting much below 0. We did get some decent snowfall, one particular storm brought about 2-3 feet, however, I spent a hell of a lot less time shoveling snow vs how much time it takes to cut the grass in the summer. And, when you shovel the snow it's not hotter than fvck outside!

When someone says Minnesota, I think of frozen cities that take months to thaw out. I didnt even think yall had a real summer.

Last year at this time, it was in the low 90s, not the high 90s.

One issue with this hot weather, the hotter the gulf of mexico waters get, the more likely we are to have a hurricane spawn in the gulf.

Well, I'm in Illinois, but it's actually hotter way up north in Minnesota today ...

Same thing up here in Milwaukee, but I'm loving it. Fuck the cold & snow.

Thing for me is I'm not acclimated to the heat yet. I can normally be out in 90+ all day and not really be too bothered. But that's in the middle of summer when I'm used to it.

All the whiners at my work place were always saying, "I'm so sick of this winter weather, I wish it would be summer already, it's so depressing!!!". I would say to them, "You'll remember those words when the temp hits over 95". Said and done. Now they want winter to come back (like we have a winter in Houston, what a joke).
