way to recover file which you did a SAVEAS over?

had a doc called xyz.doc

worked on a doc that i wanted to save within the folder that had xyz but i saved over it...


any way to recover the original xyz.doc?
 
If you started working from xyz.doc to create the new document, there might be some temp files still around that you can open to get back the original file. Either way, it sounds like your out of luck. No backups?
