Way to increase number of queue WUs in Setiqueue

Due to the recent problems with bandwidth at Berkeley, I decided to set up my own Setiqueue. I've got the bandwidth here at home to handle all the remote members of my herd so I figured, why not? Plus, it will lighten the load on OK's proxy and allow other team members to use it instead.

My question to the SetiQueue experts is this. How can I increase the number of WUs queued by SetiQueue? Currently, the queue is set to a Min of 22 WUs and a Max of 63. There is an option to override, but each time I enter numbers in that location (say 100 min, 500 max) I can't get the Queue to download more WUs. I have been trying this morning (when Berkeley supposedly has more bandwidth dedicated to Seti) but I can't get my queue to download and store more than 63 WUs.

Any thoughts or comments from you SetiQueue experts? Thanks...

Change the desired days to a higher #. Say you do 10 WU's a day and want 10 day's worth- It'll download 100 WU's to your waiting queue.

EvilWobbles, I played with the override a while back and it is limited to a % of your normal max. I forgot what it is, but it isn't very high. I did as JustStarting suggested and up'ed the number of days worth of WU to download.

Good luck with the queue! 🙂

Changing the number of days is exactly how you do it...

You'll need to login to your queue, select "Settings", and then click on the "Click to edit settings" link at the bottom of the page to edit the "Min Queue Depth" and "Max Queue Depth" parameters. 🙂
