An arrest warrant has been issued for Emmy-winning actor Timothy Busfield, best known for his roles in Field of Dreams and TV’s thirtysomething, on allegations of sexual abuse involving a minor in New Mexico.

He suggested the allegations were due to the parents wanting “revenge” after their children were not brought back for the show’s final season.

Seems kind of...hinky to me. I mean...that COULD be true...Hollyweirders are...weird...and if the parents felt slighted by the kids not being brought back...it's now out of the realm of possibility...but still.

Timothy Busfield has been indicted by a grand jury.

On Friday, Feb. 6, Bernalillo County District Attorney Sam Bregman announced that a Bernalillo County grand jury indicted Busfield, 68, on four charges.

The actor was indicted on four counts of criminal sexual contact of a child, according to Bregman. All four charges are third-degree felonies, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE.
