Way OT: trouble with subscription emails

A day or two ago, I stopped receiving emails notifying me of new posts in subscribed threads.

I have checked my comcast email and there is no sign of them being screened by the spam filter (screened folder had lots of spam, but none from anandtech)

I experimented with switching to PM notification and I think it is working OK (please.... someone reply to this post and I will know for sure)

Does anyone have an idea of what may be going wrong? I am not aware of ANY changes made to my profile or comcast account immediately preceeding this stopage.

The mods are locking threads the about this from a poster named Homerboy in the forum issues section. Didn't take the trouble to so much as acknowledge our posts beyond locking them though.

I'll use PM notifications (Gawd.... what a royal PAIN :| ) in the hopes that they are more dilligent than is apparent. and then try switching back to email every once in a while.

so frustrating. I remember when I was at Purdue and the staff made every effort to ensure we knew how much easier their jobs would be without all the students making work for them. :roll:
