Way off topic .Camcorder help?

I just purchased a Sony dcr trv 520 digital camcorder today. Only 1 problem, no owners manual.I know this has nothing to do with computers, but hey, what the heck.Maybe you folks know of any sites I can download a manual from. I called sony but they said it would be 10 or more days to get me one. My brother is getting married this weekend and I would like to know how to use the features. Any help would be greately appreciated. Thanks Kenny

How little of the features do you not understand? Can you make it start and stop recording. I think most home videographers ruin their tapes by trying to put in 4000 titles, and use allt he built in transitions etc. They look like crap, just use it to record, and maybe fade to black

Leave the titling and effects you'd want to do to the editiing process on your pc. Just keep the transitions to a minimum, straight cuts are your friend

Did you check their website? If they don't have instructions there try calling Sony and explaining the situation. They may express mail the instructions to you or even fax them.
