Not sure why the other 48 States are so proud of that, it's nice as hell to be able to sit in the comfort of my car when the weather sucks instead of having to get out and pump my own gas. It isn't as if our gas prices are higher than anywhere else.

Honestly, I was too. And while I'm 99.999999999% sure that OP meant "reprimanded" it turns out that reprehended is an actual word and it does fit in the context.
