Wavey lines in 3D games @ higher FSB

This is a strange one to describe, but I noticed that when I raise my FSB to 146Mhz, and play UT @ 1600x1200 I see "shimmering" going down the screen, or slight "wavey lines". Its not obvious at first but you look closely and you can see it. Now at this time I can't decide whether or not its the high FSB causing this interference or if its the fact I had to bump my I/O up a bit to get 146Mhz.

At 3.3V I/O and 133Mhz bus this problem does not occur.

Any ideas? Anybody reading this thinking "Yep that happened to me".

It's definitely worse at 1600x1200 than it is at say 1024x768.

Known problem

Only happens with Ultra cards, read the thread for workarounds and fixes. If you get them by bumping FSB, you might have to lower it....

Thankyou! :)

Perhaps it DOES happen at 133FSB and I just didn't notice. I was looking more closely @ 146Mhz for corruption so I will re-check.

Do you think its reasonable that it might be worse at a higher FSB and/or I/O voltage?

BTW as far as I can see it was only happening in games, not at the desktop.
