Wavemaster punching bags any good?

No, they suck if you're doing any forceful strikes on it. They're filled with air (the base is water). Good for cardio kickboxing, but for real martial arts, get a real heavy bag. It's about the same price.

What do you recommend? Problem is i have next to no room.

If you have room for a wave master you have room for a normal heavy bag. If you have nowhere to hang it, get a heavybag stand. But they're about the same size. The wavemaster is a lot easier to move around of course since all you do is roll it around, but if you have enough room for a heavy bag to be suspended somewhere, then i would get that.

get a heavy bag. if you are serious anyhow, ive knocked my fair share of these wavemaster deals over.

Not sure about a stand... but a bag around $150. I really can't see a stand more than $100, but if you can hang it, definitely hang it. It's more stable and you have more bag to manuever around.

only place Id be able to hang it is the subbasement, but I think that it would cause vibrations on the second floor if I did that.

Yeah, that's nice. There are stands out there without the speedbag, which would make them cheaper. But like i said, you have less room to manuever.
