i have some cds (mostly techno) that have 15-18 tracks on them, but they are basically just one 72 minute song. is there any software that will rip this to one wav file, then i can convert it to one mp3 file and not have it break up the cd into the individual tracks?
According to Cdex's helpfile:
Q: Is it possible, using CDex, to merge several tracks into a single WAV or MP3 file?
A: What you can do is to select several tracks, and hit the partial track copy, with this option you can select a range which is ripped or encoded into one (large) file.
rip all the tracks to WAV files, use somthing free like the softwear that comes with Creative cards, ( sound studio or seomthing? waveditor? ) and combine all the tracks. Save. Convert to mp3.
